Once the question is asked, do not look back

Once we begin to re-imagine education in ways that reflect the knowledge economy, we can’t go back to our old school ways of working with children. The world in which they are growing up has an abundance of everything, and they expect to have access to quality services, products and experiences. Most importantly, children today are accustomed to personalization of all these things. Education must make the shift to reflect this as a current reality at all levels of society. Yes, the world we knew and found our professional success in is passing away, but there is plenty of room for us in this new age if we allow ourselves to adapt. It’s more comfortable to hold on, or even think of going back, but we can’t. The journey continues up ahead. And it began when you first asked your first question as a professional educator.
